Goal Zero Lighthouse 600 Review: Bright, Versatile, and Built to Last
The Goal Zero Lighthouse 600 has become my go-to camping lantern and emergency light source. I’ve put it through its paces on several camping trips and power outages, and it consistently delivers excellent performance.
Pros:

- Versatile Charging Options: The built-in hand crank is a lifesaver when you’re off-grid and the battery is low. It also charges via USB, and can even act as a power bank to charge your phone. The solar charging option (sold separately) further enhances its versatility.
- Durable Construction: The Lighthouse 600 feels incredibly well-built and robust. It’s clearly designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor use. I’ve accidentally knocked it over a few times, and it’s held up perfectly.
- Directional Lighting: The ability to light up only half of the lantern (one side) is surprisingly useful. It allows you to conserve power and avoid blinding your neighbors in a campsite.
